When and where will the conference take place?
The EFPSA Scientific Conference 2025 will take place from 8-11th December 2025 in Gdańsk, Poland, at the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park. You can find more information about the location in the „Venue” tab on our website.
What is the main topic of the conference?
The theme of this year’s Conference is:
“A Drop in the Sea of Needs. Applied Psychology in Answer to Modern-Day Challenges.”
In what language will the sessions and presentations be held?
All sessions, presentations, and materials will be conducted in English.
Will the conference be available in a hybrid format (online and on-site)?
The Conference will primarily be held on-site. We may offer online participation for selected sessions — more information will be shared closer to the event date.
Will I receive a certificate of participation?
Yes, each participant will receive a certificate confirming their attendance and participation in the EFPSA Conference 2025.
Are there any post-conference materials planned?
Yes, we are planning to share selected post-conference materials with participants. More details will be provided closer to the event.
How can I register for the conference?
You will be able to register through the registration link available on our website and official social media pages.
What are the fees for participation?
You can find all information about participation fees in the “Registration” tab on our website. Fees vary depending on the application round (Early Bird, Regular, Final Call).
Are there any student/association discounts available?
Yes! Members of the EFPSA Working Community will receive a 10% discount on Early Bird, Regular and Final Call fees.
What is the registration deadline?
We will have three application rounds:
- Early Bird Call: 30th July – 10th August 2025
- Regular Call: 11th August – 25th September 2025
- Final Call: 26th September – 10th October 2025
Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
Yes. You can cancel your registration and receive a 50% refund, but only if the cancellation is made no later than one week before the Final Call registration closes (30th September 2025). After this date, cancellations are still possible, but no refunds will be issued.
Will there be a waiting list if spots are filled?
Yes! If all participant spots are filled, we will open a waiting list. Applicants on the waiting list will be contacted as soon as a spot becomes available, based on the order in which they registered.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes, it will be possible to request an invoice. However, please note that depending on the workload of our accountant, processing might take some time — we kindly ask for your patience.
Where can I find a detailed conference program?
The full program will be available in the “Programme” tab on our website once it is finalised.
Will there be a poster session?
Yes! The Conference will include a scientific poster session as part of the programme.
How can I submit my presentation/poster?
A separate submission form will be sent to participants who indicate their interest in presenting during the application process.
Will recordings of the sessions be available after the conference?
No, we do not plan to record or share session recordings after the event.
Are there any coffee/lunch breaks?
Yes! Coffee breaks and lunch breaks will be provided and are included in the participation fee.
Do the organizers provide accommodation?
No, accommodation is not included in the participation fee. However, we will be happy to recommend nearby hotels and hostels, and we might also provide discount codes or offers in partnership with selected venues. Stay tuned for updates!
Are there any recommended hotels near the conference venue?
Yes – you’ll find a list of recommended accommodation options in the Conference Booklet, which will be sent to participants before the event.
How do I get to the conference venue?
You can find travel tips and directions in the “City Info” tab on our website.
Will there be Wi-Fi available on site?
Yes, the conference venue provides Wi-Fi, and participants will be able to connect during the event.
Is the conference venue adapted to the needs of people with disabilities?
Yes, Science and Technology Park is equipped with accessible facilities, including ramps and elevators, allowing full participation for individuals with disabilities.

If you have any questions or need support, you can email us at conference2025@efpsa.org. We also plan to set up a dedicated communication channel for participants — such as WhatsApp — closer to the event.
Will there be a banquet/social gathering?
Yes! A banquet and social activities are part of the official programme and a great opportunity for networking and fun.
