About the Venue

We would like to welcome you to the Professor Hilary Koprowski Gdańsk Science and Technology Park (GSTP). It is a modern place located in the former Gdańsk Printing Plant where science, business, and technology meet together.

Here, many scientific, economic, social, and local government entities create solutions beneficial to Polish economy.

The Park was created in 2006 upon the initiative of the Marshal’s Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship, the city of Gdańsk, the Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.

Nowadays, in GSTP facilities you can find the Integrated 3D Printing Centre, advanced laboratories, the Technology Incubator, the Data Centre, the Co Work, a kindergarten, a nursery school, and a relax zone „Park in the Park”. It is also home to many companies from the field of Research and Experimental Development (R&D).

GSTP takes its name from Professor Hilary Koprowski – Polish physician, virologist, and Associate Professor at the Thomas Jefferson University. He invented the first polio vaccine and donated 9 million of its doses to Polish people. That resulted in the rapid decrease in the prevalence of polio in Poland in the 1960s.

The Conference and Training Center consists of 9 conference rooms which can accommodate up to a few hundred people. The Centre is equipped with professional auditory and multimedia systems which guarantees high-quality sound and image during presentations. The venue is accessible for people with disabilities. Every room has access to Wi-Fi.
